I am searching for information on my gr-gr-grandmother, Natalia KLUEBER/KLUBER. It is thought that she came to America as a young child, possibly in the mid-1800s. Parents are unknown at this time, as well as where in Germany she came from. It is believed this family came through a New York harbor. In 1856 she married Anton TRAUT, from Sondernheim, Baden, Germaany. It is believed the marriage took place in Ohio. The couple lived in Carey, Wyandot Co., Ohio. They had five children, Anna, b. 1858; Amelia, b. 1859; Anthony, b. 1861; Henry, b. 1863 and Natalia, b. 1865. Natalia (mother) died in 1867. Anton sent the children to live with family and/or friends. The girls appear to have been adopted. The two boys were sent to Adam and Mary MOOS in Sandusky, Ohio.
