I am looking for my Ford and Smith Family.
I was told Jesse was born in GA. or NC.
My great-grandpa was Jesse Sylvester Ford, he was married to Jennie Smith. They are buried in Hickox,GA. at the New Hope Cemetery. They had 5 childern: Four sons, Arthur S. Ford and Owen Harvey Ford, Augustine Ford and a Baly Ford. One daughter, Minnie Pearl Ford. She married Thomas Jefferson Jefferson (Jeff) King. Jennie and Jesse lived in Offerman,GA.(Pierce County)in the 1900's. Jesse died in 1914. I think he worked for a Railroad Co. I was told he fail under a Train and died. If any knows my Ford Family or Smith Family. Please contact me.
Update on Smith Family-- my great-great-grandma was Nancy Hickox daughter of Dave Hickox my great-grandma was Mary Hickox daughter of Benjamin Hickox. Nancy Hickox married Simon Smith he was a Casualty of the Civil War.
