I am looking for descendants of Silas McMillan. I know his son Charles lived in Rosebud, NM in 1912 when his father was there. His father came sometime in Feb 1912 and then died there in March 1912. Charles told the Pension Bureau that Silas was buried on his homestead near Rosebud, NM. I have some information on the section etc. but until I figure out which county it was and hopefully find some family. Charles had a wife named Susan and a son named John T. McMillan in 1912 according to papers filed in 1912 with the Bureau of Pensions office in Quay County. Any help finding this family and understanding the county lines back then would be greatly appreciated.
