I was born 9/2/1945 Fremont Hospital in Yuba City Calif. Was told completely different story about how I came to be. I was told that my dad (John Ross) had an affair with a lady, whose husband was fighting in the war. She got pregnat went in to the hospital under my mom's name (Leita Powers-Ross)my mom took me home and that was the end of that. Well 61 years later find out that I was adopted and these are the names that I received from a very helpful lady in birth records. This is all I know of them. I had auburn curly hair as a child, rather dark as an adult with very strait almost native america straight hair. Heart problems in my late teens. Stand about 5'2" with a rather small frame.
