My paternal great-great-great-grand parents were John Bowman and Mary Bellar of Patrick county Virginia.
John Bowman was born 1780-1790, and he died 1848-1850 in Patrick County, Virginia. He married Mary Beller 10 October, 1808.
Mary Beller was born about 1786, and she died <1860 in Patrick County, Virginia. She was a daughter of Peter Bellar who died 1828 in Grayson County, Virginia.
I believe that the children of Mary Beller and John Bowman and their spouses were:
Cleron Bowman was born 1809. He married Elizabeth Unknown about 1846.
Phoebe Bowman was born ~ 1811. She married John Thompson 6 Aug 1830.
Elizabeth Bowman was born ~ 1815. She married Nelson Thompson about 1835.
Elisha Bowman was born ~ 1817. He married Sarah Jackson about 1841.
John William Bowman was born ~ 1819. He married Mary Jackson 28 June 1849.
Nancy Bowman was born ~ 1821. She married John Jackson 1842.
Alfred Bowman was born ~ 1825. He married Mary Ann Knighten 26 March 1846.
Cristina Bowman was born ~ 1827. She Married Caswell P Montgomery 1847.
Fowlke Bowman was born ~ 1829. He married Jeddida Knighten 10 April 1852.
Ewell Bowman was born ~ 1831. He married Martha J Knighten July 15 1852.
I do not know who was john’s father, but I suspect that is was his next door neighbor in the 1820 Patrick County Virginia census, Leonard Bowman.
