Hi, I am looking for information on parents of Thomas Carruthers b. abt 1794-96 in Dumfries, Kirkpatrick, Scotland to a John Carruthers and an Ann Jack. Thomas was married to a Janet Halliday b. abt. 1793-96. I have John's death date of 23 Dec 1880 at Mountaintop, Crossmichael Parish, Scotland. I have no further information on them. I am also looking for his daughter's husband's grandparents. His daughter was Elizabeth Carruthers who married a William McLauchlan and his parents are James McLauchlan b. abt 1810 in Wigtown, Kirkinner, Scotland and Jemima Dally b. abt. 1813 in Wigtown, Wigtown Parish, Scotland. His parents are James McLauchlan and Agnes Millar. I have no dates for them. Any information on these two families would be much appreciated.
