I am searching for any info on Christopher Columbus Davis,my paternal great great grandfather who lived in Macon County, Alabama. His parents might have been Anson Sr.(or Andrew,from my research) and his mother might have been Reama Walton Davis. I would like to know for sure. They seem to be listed as a family unit on the 1850 Federal Census, Macon County, Alabama records. Reama's maiden name was given to me by another researcher.( Some later records showed his mother as a Lucy Davis, but I believe she might have been his stepmother. She is buried in Little Texas Cemetary near the Tabernacle between Tuskegee and Auburn, in Macon County. Her children are also, and I have their names.) Both Christopher Columbus Davis and Isabella are buried there also, and I have the dates of b. and d. from their headstones. I also have the names of Andrew Davis and Reama's children from the 1850 Census, but have not been able to find any later records of them anywhere. I wonder if they moved?
