I'm looking for any information concerning an ancestor of mine named Joshua Owens. He supposedly lived in a small community in SW Alabama called Burnt Corn, AL. He had at least one son who was my great grandfather and was named Levi Joshua Owens. Levi Joshua lived near and is buried in Bristol, FL. I'm trying to trace the line back further. I'm not sure if Joshua Owens was born in the Burnt Corn, AL area but he was supposed to have come from there when he moved to the Bristol, FL area. I don't know if the son, Levi Joshua Owens was born in Burnt Corn or Bristol but he was born in 1855. Any iformation that can be provided would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
