I am searching for the parents/siblings of William James Earl, b bet 1824 & 1831 in New York, New York. He entered the Civil War in 1864, 91st Regiment of NY Volunteers, discharged in 1865. He died in Albany, New York on 13 March 1882. His address at time of death was 172 Sherman St. Albany, New York. He married Sarah Jane Dobbs, b 28 June 1846 in Albany, New York. Sarah died 28 January 1890 in Albany Hospital for the Incurables, Albany, New York. I do not have a marriage date for William and Sarah. Their children are Joseph W. b 14 March 1863, Sarah Louise b 1865, George S. b 1868, Charles Edward "Eddie" b 28 June 1874, Jennie P. b 10 June 1878. I have a copy of Williams Civil War Volunteer Enlistment dated 27 Feb 1864, age 38; Discharge August 1865, age 38; 1870 Census New York, Albany age 43; 1880 Census New York, Albany age 49 and his death certificate 1882 age 58, this is why I have his date of birth between 1824 and 1831. I have been given all of this information from cousins, we can not seem to find Williams parents/siblings, or a marriage date. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated.
