Need info on Oscar Norton, who came to Knox county, Nebraska about 1870, first to Bazile Mills. In 1872, he homesteaded on the half section of land where Winnetoon now stands. William VanCamp batched with him that year. According to VanCamp, Norton had a store called Winnetoon. In 1890, the land was granted to Norton, In 1893, he sold to Seth Jones, who established the town. Norton may gave gone to Pierce, Ne after that. Does anyone know anything about Oscar Norton?
