In 1860, James L. Giles is in Chambers County, age 27 working as an overseer for a Wilson Family.
James L. Giles is in Clay Co. Alabama in 1870 with his new family. (MIRANDA MICTCHELL WILKERSON, B 1847 RANDOLPH COUNTY ALABAMA. Daughter of Levi Wilkerson, b 1811, NC and Permilla Wade, b abt 1820 in Georgia)
