I'm looking for an African American Family- COLE
I am looking for Joseph (Joe) COLE b. abt.1850 from Mississippi. In the 1870 Census he is in Burleson Co., TX. ( Brazos Bottoms) living with another family by the name of Stephen and Minerva Davis. Then in 1879 he married Josephine Robertson in Burleson Co., Tx. In the 1880 Cenus he is shown with his wife and says he is from Mississippi. I saw a census record form 1860 that had a Joe Cole listed same age but this was a caucasian family. Any help is greatly appreciated!
