Katie was adopted by my wife and I in 1987 from the Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines,Iowa. She was born on 9/16/1987 and brought to us by a lawyer from Des Moines 4 days later. We waited for our new baby girl at the lawyer's home. The birth mother had contact with the Agape Luthern adoption agency. The lady at this agency first name was Jan. We are trying to help Katie find her birth parents. Due to privacy laws we have not been able to yet. Katie will be married this April 5th,2008. Katie is now 20 years old and is a wonderful daughter and would like to meet and know her birth parents. Katie' discharge date from the hospital was 9/20/1987.
