I am searching for birth mother or any birth siblings. I was born in Detroit, Michigan on 4-14-49. Don't know hospital name, but room number 201 is written on my birth certificate. My birth mother was 19 when she had me. I was adopted by Elinore and Harry Carlisle who lived in Detroit and shortly after receiving me, moved to Pontiac, Waterford, Michigan. The Carlisle's ran what they called "safe houses" in Detroit and Pontiac. This was a private adoption. It wasn't finalized until 4-19-1950. Quite awhile after I was born. There was a Sheriff by the name of Herbert Radunz involved in this adoption some way. He died in Pontiac, Michigan in 1973. My adopted name is Shelley Lynn Carlisle.
