My name is Joseph David Theis (b 10-08-1970) and I am researching my family tree. I have my Grandfather (Howard Joseph) and his father (Joseph Matthias). They lived in Chicago, ILL until moving to Minneapolis MN about 1930's or so. I also have Howrd's wife (Dolly Lois Sawyer) back to her great grandfather Calvin Taft. I have been told that Calvin is some sort of a relative to former President William Howard Taft. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated. I also have a line to my wife's side back to 1235 so I have fallen way behind. Thank you in advance.
