Jasper took Estel to County Commissioner, in Dec. 1894, Estel was then placed with the John Garrick family of Speed, Indiana. Estel's name then became Harry Estel McCartney. Estel also had a sister born July 1, 1890, we have no name for her, or if she lived. Grandparents were Andrew & Jennetta Cook McCartney. Thank You.
