Salyer living in Roanoke Va. in 1933 with his mother(name unknown). They were catholic, lived in a boarding house on Campbell Ave. He worked at Piggy Wiggle on Melrose Ave. His mother worked at Sushine Laundry on 13th St. This is all the info we have.
