I am looking for the parents of my 3rd Great Grandfather Ebenezer Still (1766 - 1848) who married Susanna PRESTON on 09 Oct 1791 at Windsor, Berkshire Co, MA. They had fourteen children.
Ebenezer enlisted n March 1781 from Westfield, Massachusetts. He was unable to collect all his soldier's pay and being discouraged sold his discharge papers to a Mr. Baker in New Marborough, Berkshire County, Massachusetts about 1787; the price was a "one horse cart." About 1800 Ebenezer and family moved west to what is now Wayne County, New York. This was his home until his death from gravel stones. His main occupation was that of farmer.
