I am searching for my birthmother and birthfather. I was born in Hawaii, July 27, 1958. All I know is that my birthmother came to Hawaii to meet her fiance and be married. Her fiance was in the military. He didn't get his leave time as they planned and she was left in Hawaii to wait for him. She had an affair, got pregnant with me and then when her fiance got his leave and found out he told her he still wanted to marry her but didn't want to keep the child. He felt that if they had problems later, he might take it out on the child since it wasn't his. I do not know if my birthfather even knows about me. The folks who adopted me told me this information and they got the information from the lawyer who handled the adoption. My adopted parents went through Navy Relief to do the adoption.
