I am seeking info about who my birth parents were. I was born in Lancaster Ohio on 6/16/1953. My adopted parents were Burl Woodrow and Velma Gertrude (nee Hardman) Poling. I have no details surrounding the adoptions, no paperwork, nothing. I am 54 years old, so I suspect that everyone involved would most likely be dead, i.e. the doctor who delivered me, and the attorney who handled the adoption. I believe it was a private adoption involving someone my parents knew personally. I suspect my birth mother may have been a family member: my adopted dad's sister or unmarried daughter from his previous marriage. I would appreciate just knowing my medical history if nothing else. I am the age when cancer, diabetes, and heart problems become a concern, and I need to know what I have inheritated.
