I am searching for information on Samuel B. Roach from Putnam/Cabell/Teays Valley, West Virginia. Samuel is my great grandfather. Samuel married my grandmother Laura V. Taylor June 8, 1895. They had 4 children, Owen, John, Carie & Hensley. Laura passed away in 1906 and Samuel married a Rosa Bailey July 31, 1907 . Bailey is not her maiden name as she had been married before and I believe she was from Ohio. Samuel passed away in 1911 and Rosa placed my grandfather John & Uncle Hensley in an orphanage. George and Annie Masters took them out and kept them until they were grown. If anyone has any info/picture's, etc., on my Roach ancesters, or the Masters, please contact me. I have hit a brick wall. I am also researching Harvey Crist/Felicity Ramsey genealogy, my ancestor's on my grandmother's side.
