I have searched at length for the parents of Laughlin L. Morrison. (born in North Carolina 1811 and died in Thomas, Ga about 1863) He is listed in the 1850 & 1860 Census in Thomas, Ga and also on the slave lists. He was highly respected in Thomas, Ga. He apparently only had the one son (Norman A wife is listed as Amanda - born 1833 in Georgia. Apparently Amanda died when Norman was very young. I tend to believe his father was John Morrison but other family trees show him as the son of Angus. I have no proof of either.
