I need to know if someone can research newspapers in the Portland, Oregon area for an ad or article announcing my birth. Jan. 31, 1964. I was adopted out nine months later, but the adoption agency had to advertise for my father, so that he could claim me if he wanted. The ad ran for nine months. I'm guessing in the Oregonian or Oregon Journal. It would have his name, which is what I am trying to find out, because my mom did not list him on the birth cert. I was born at Multnomah Hosp. in Portland. Please contact me if you have any info, or any way that I could find out by myself. My mother's name is Jeanne L. Larson. I have talked to her, but she won't tell me anything. She is being very nasty. Please give any suggestion, I have gone thru MANY microfilms of newspapers in the area. Thanks.
