hi. i am helping my father-in-law in finding his father, mr. jack paul welch. according to my father-in-law's mom, pacita, mr. welch was a military police volunteer in the army, stationed in the philippines during world war 2. he was also private first class. we lack information because my father-in-law's mom couln't remember details, but mentions that mr. welch was from north carolina and that he lived in a place ending in "ton". so my wife and i are thinking of wellington, wilmington, milton drive, huntington, etc. she used to have his name tag, blanket and knife with serial number, but unfortunately, when the volcano erupted, they were all misplaced. besides, she was only 15 then. she says mr. welch used to write but her father always meddled. we would really appreciate it if any of you can help us, please. we know my father-in-law will be more than happy to know his roots. he has never seen his father since he was born in 1946. we would love to see him, a picture or contact numbers, email addresses or addresses would be highly appreciated. we would surely want to be able to see my father-in-laws's siblings, if there are any. but most of all, if mr. welch is still alive, then they can finally meet. my father-in-law longs for him. i am doing this for my father-in-law. thank you so much.
