I am looking for relatives of Joseph Nicholas Sheehan. He sang with a number of opera companies before emigrating to Hoboken, NJ (not sure of the year). I believe his father was William Sheehan. Joseph married Frances Fahy in 1904 in Hoboken, NJ. They had 4 sons: Joseph, Richard, William and Bernard. William Sheehan was my grandfather. According to the ship manifest, Frances Fahy she came over in July, 1903 with her widowed mother Mary Theresa (known as Minnie) and her siblings: John 11 yrs old, Catherine (Kitty) 9 yrs old, Nellie (Helen) 8 yrs old, James 5 years old and Richard 15 yrs old. There are Gallaghers and O'Malleys in the family tree. Not sure if they are connected to the Sheehan side or the Fahy side. I believe there may also be a connection to McCurdy.
