I am searching for any family of Mary Elizabeth Hoke who married James K Polk Harris. They were from Texas. They had a daughter named Nannie Bell Harris. Nannie's mother was married to a Mr. Monson, a Mr. McMahan, and Thomas Clifford Gafford. She was born in Shiro, Texas. Nannie was born in Madisonville, Texas in 1908/9. She died in Floydada (Floyd County), Texas in 1992 and is buried there. Thomas was born in late ??? 1890's and died is 1966. He is buried in Oxford Cemetery in Madisonville (Madison County), Texas. They had 4 children: Corolyn Jean, Harold Dean, Richard Earl, James Thomas. These four were raised in the Waco State Home from late 1940's to late 1960's. Thomas worked at Huntsville prison. His parents were Franklin Moses Gafford and Mary Elizabeth Heaton Gafford. They are also buried in Oxford Cemetery in Madisonville, Texas.
