I am searching for my birth parents. I was adopted in a private adoption in Orofino Idaho. My birth date is May 14, 1979. I was born in Clearwater hospital in Orofino. My parents had a lawyer by the name of Chinowith he is retired now. I was told that my biological parents were young, like 16 or 17 at the time. Also when I was about 2 or so, my Dad got a letter from the lawyer wanting pictures of me but was too freaked out to send them. I think I heard something about my biological father being from California? I really don’t have much to go on, my file is sealed so I haven’t really tried very hard to find you, but I would just like to know a little bit about where I come from. I don’t have any expectations but would be open to a friendship if you felt inclined. And THANK YOU for not having an abortion but I still believe in a women's right to choose. I grew up well, my parents were great, I have lived a wonderful life, and I couldn’t have asked for a better family. They will always be my parents but I would love for you to be my friend. I’m crying while I write this, but they are tears of joy. I hope that you have also been well, and felt good about your decision; you made a good choice for me, so thank you.
