I'm searching for information on the parents, siblings, and family of my gg grandmother: Margaret WIEKE, b 10 Feb 1818, Hollidaysburg, PA, d 1906, in Lennox, Taylor, IA (or Nodaway, Adams, IA), m John Samuel MARDIS, b 30 Jul 1818 in Bedford, Franklin, or Huntingdon Co, PA, d 1908 in Santa Rosa, Sonoma, CA.
Margaret and John Samuel's family was living in Muscatine County, Iowa, on the 1850 US Census. I have unconfirmed family records indicating Margaret's father was Jonathan WIEKE, mother unknown.
John and Margaret's children were

On the 1860 and 1870 US Census, there are several families with the surnames WIKE and WYKE in Blair County, Pennsylvania. These listings include three women of the right age to be Margaret's mother
