2nd wife Eliza Barry (my Gr. Gr. Grandmother) I cannot find her grave! Children, Abby LaVerna, Mary Frances, called "Fanny"-- (1st wife's children)
And, Dennis, James H., James Joseph,Emily M., Edward & Josephine Elizabeth(2nd wife's children) Josephine married a Fred Smith, circuit court judge in Manhattan, Riley County, KS. Edward & James died early.

Garrett's Father was James Fitzgerald and Mary OKeefe who lived in Ft. Covington, Franklin County New York.(picture) They were married 1820 & emigrated from County Cork, Ireland in 1828 with four male children: James, Garret H., David & Dennis. James petitioned and applied for US citizenship 1840 in Bombay, Franklin, NY and, settled in Ft. Covington, Franklin, NY with his family there. I believe they were farmers.
