I am looking for the parents names of William M. Browning born 1800 in Goochland Co. Va. or Russell Co. Va. In 1823 he married Sarah Wallace, as per family search. org. and moved to Harlan Co. Ky. He is in 1830 Harlan Co. Census as William Bowning, also a Jacob Browning is there as well, maybe his uncle, He moved to Knox Co. Ky. and is listed in the 1840 census, and married to a Winny Parker of N.C. they were married in 1837 in Harlan Co. He died after 1880 in Bell Co. Ky. He is my gggrandfather. Any help is appreciated.
