I am researching my father's family tree, Hinman. They moved to Northampton County, VA from Accomack County, VA or from Maryland around 1888. My grandfather's name was Wade Hinman and he had at least one brother by the name of Thomas Hinman. Thomas Hinman listed their father as John on his marriage license. I hope to find out more about John Hinman and also to find out more about Wade Hinman. I think maybe Wade was his middle name and that is why I cannot find him in the US Census Records. Wade was born in 1876 and Thomas was born in 1873 so I think maybe their father was born between 1830 - 1855. If anyone can offer any information it would be greatly appreciated.
