I am researching my surname of Valenzuela on my parental side. My father lineage is from a small town in Mexico, in the state of Zacatecas named Jalpa.
I have been able to trace back to the names of two brothers named Juan and Ramon Valenzuela who we believe arrived to Jalpa from Spain, consequently starting the Valenzuela name in and my father's lineage.
