My friend knows that his birthmother's husband, released him for adoption at birth, although he was told she waited a year before she released him. My friend was adopted 13 months after his birth in April 1969 through the state and adopted by a family living in Norwich, Chenango, NY.
He was also told that the birth mother and her family lived in Norwich.
