I am looking for a family member's daughter who was put up for adoption. She has been ill and can not search herself.
Baby girl with head full of dark hair born at Deconess Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on August 22nd or 27th 1971. Baby girl weighed 3 lbs 6 oz at full term. She almost didn't make it due to heart problems.
Birth mothers name is Ora Kay Thibodeau, she was 16 yrs old at the time of birth. She is now living in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Adoption took place through June Cottrell out of Oklahoma City. She is now deceased.
The adoptive parents where our of Norman Oklahoma and later moved to Texas. However info given is they may of moved back to Oklahoma.
We heard the girl went to school in Norman, at OU. However didn't finish school because of heart defect.
Kay had been looking for her daughter for many years. She didn't want to give the baby up however she had to because of her age. At the time of the baby's birth the doctor place a rag over her face so that she couldn't see the baby.
