I need help find any information on a John Bingham; he is my great grandfather and had five children one being Velda; my grandmother. I know he was married to Alice and had four daughters and one son named Johnny Jay. I have been told Bingham is not his real last name that he was Italian and changed his name when he came to Iowa because no one would hire an Italian. He had a sister in Davenport Ia and his mother or grandmother that lived with his sister. I don't know their names though. Please I would greatly appreciate anything that anyone might know. Also the children were adopted; I know that my grandmother was adopted when she was in grade shcool. I know she had a sister name Ruth, Alice Jean, and I can't remember the other.
