I'm trying to find out information on my great granfather.My Grandma Betty Jo Newsome has been looking for her dad for the last few years.Betty Jo Newsome's father is supposably Earnest Newsome from Oklahoma.Betty Jo Newsome's mother is Sally Ratliff. Betty is about 84 years old. I know that they had realtion in Hartshorne,Oklahoma and other parts of Oklahoma.I may have Earnest's name spelled wrong. My grandma said that they moved to K.C. and she never heard from her dad again. I have been trying to find a marriage license but I'm having trouble. I'm just learning about genealogy. It would be great to let my grandma know where her dad is buried and any other info. I could find.My Grandma married James A Cole and has been a Cole ever since.
