Searching for information regarding the family of Hyland Leonard Finney, b. abt. 1849 in Granville Twp., Bradford Co, PA, youngest s/o Nathan Newell Finney and his second wife Emily "Melinda" Ballard; m. 31 Dec 1882 in LeRoy Twp., Bradford Co., PA, Mary Adline "Addie" Bailey, b. 2 Sept 1861 in LeRoy Twp., Bradford Co., PA, d/o Manning Bailey and Mary Jane Savage.
Hyland had the following siblings: Alfred D. Finney; Allen McKean Phinney; Alvin T. Finney; Anson C. Finney; Olive Annitt Finney; and (Apollis?) Herrick Finney.
Addie had the following siblings: Emmett Bailey; Lucy A. Bailey; Flora M. Bailey; Reed D. Bailey; Dorr K. Bailey; Eliza J. Bailey; Louie Bailey; Samuel A. Bailey; and Silas E. Bailey.
Hyland and Addie had the following children (and probably others): Hyland "Leon" Finney (m. Ellen Lungar); Cora Adline Finney; Abbie Finney (m. Howard Shedden); and Hazel (a/k/a Lulu?) Finney. I have some birthdates, and some names of grandchildren of this couple, but would like more information.
Hyland Finney is my g-g-grandfather's brother (Allen McKean Phinney), and I would like to add his descendants, births, deaths, etc., to my family genealogy. I would especially be interested in finding out exactly when Hyland and Addie died (I believe Hyland d. abt. 1900 in either Granville or Troy Twp.), and Addie sometime after 1930 in probably Chemung Co., NY. I would like to know where they are buried also.
