I am a gr gr grandaughter of William Holmes born 1831 or1832 in Indiana and died in Ashland Ill in 1904. I have been hunting for years for William's parents and siblings,I have also been told that William and his sister, Sarah may have been brought to Ill. from Indiana to be raised by a Holmes family in Morgan cty Ill.
