I am looking for my son who I gave up for adoption. I was 17 years old at the time. His birthday is 06/15/1982. He was born at Mercy Hospital in Miami, FL. He was born at 1:24am. He weighed 8 lbs 4 oz and was 21 inches long. He was circumcised at birth. I was told that the adoptive parents lived in the Tampa, FL area and that both parents had their Masters Degree. One parent is a teacher and one was working for IBM at the time of the adoption. The birth father is of Puerto Rican descent. I am a fair skinned Caucasian woman. I stayed at St. Vincent's Home for unwed mothers on the Mercy Hospital campus. I signed legal papers on June 26, 1982 giving up my parental rights in a Miami courtroom. The birth father refused to sign any legal paperwork either giving up his rights or acknowledging that he was the father of the child. I only know that my son had black hair at birth.
