Searching for my mother's birth parents Jerrie (Diane) Oakley was her adopted name; was born 01/23/1954 in Nashville,tn. This was a private adoption and was said that her mother's name was Betty Jane and her husband was in the military and she got pregnant with my mother while he was active duty away from home. There are older sibling(maybe one or two older girls). Betty Jane(about 5'7 brownish slight red tint hair) was maybe at the time a bartender/waitress at a bar in west nashville. My mother's adoptive parents are James Oakley and Jessie Oakley. I would love to meet my mother's family. Any information would be great. It was said that other sibling or family knew nothing of my mother and that maybe my mothers's birth father died in a car accident.
