Searching for birth mom. I was born in Milwaukee WI on 4/12/1955 to single mom 18 years old. Her father took her to hospital and she immediately gave me up for adoption. She told her siblings she was in the hospital for an appendectomy.
I was in a few foster homes due to some spasticity/health concerns and the final adoption took place on 10/10/1955. Adopted via Lutheran Welfare (Social Services.) My birth mother went to work in a factory to pay for the adoption fees.
My birth mother was described as from German heritage with 4 older siblings. Her mother, (my birth grandmother) was deceased and she was living with her father in a typical Milwaukee bungalow. My birth father was listed as from a Polish family.
I was told that I would be heavy set like my birth mom.
