UNKNOWN. Birth Mother and birth Father ISO of our child born late April, 1959 at Salvation Army facility in Birmingham AL. Mother was informed the infant was a boy, father was informed in 1960 the baby was a girl. We assume the infant/child was adopted. We assume the adult child lives in Alabama, maybe Georgia. Salvation Army says they destroyed the records but they may be covering up. So we have no record of adoptive parents or adoption agency. If you have a record of birth and/or adoption papers with date of birth as above and birth place was Birmingham, we want to know. We are in our early 70's and in good health.
