I'm trying to find out who my biological father was. My aunt said his name was Charles McLaughlin from Mansfield, Ohio. I was born Jan. 2,1949 in Ashland, Ohio. At the age of 3 my maternal grandparents adopted me. My birth certificate shows them as my legal parents but I would like to see the original certificate. Any suggestions? He is probably dead now as is my biological mother, but I still want to know. My mother's name was Marjorie C. Lookabaugh. She had told me for years that his name was George Dezilec but on his death bed, he denied being my father.
