I am researching the Worden and Petrie family. William Henry Worden Jr. and Clara Rose Petrie were my great grandparents. They lived in Touchet, WA. They were married on January 1, 1914. She was Clara Rose Petrie born in Milton, OR in 1896. Her father was James B. Petrie born in DeCalb, Ill. and Her mother was Grace M. Olinger born in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Can anyone tell me more about this family. I know Clara and Williams children etc. But I would like to know more about Clara's parents, grandparents etc. I would also like to know more about Williams parents. His father was William Henry Worden Sr. who came to Walla Walla at age 11. His mother was a widow who had remarried a man named Freeze. I am wondering if there were brothers or sisters etc. Also what was his mothers name and where was she born? William and Clara Worden had a daughter named Grace Worden who married William Henry Singer. I would like to know about 2 of their children who were adopted out in the late 1950's. There names were Billy and Rosie.
