Birth Mother trying to find adopted female baby. She was born January 17, 1961, in Petersburg, VA. Birth mother's last name would be Bumgarner. Birth mother is my sister and was told the baby girl would need several surgeries, but the birth mother was not allowed to see her so we cannot validate this information. The birth mother, does however, know what the specifics of the defects were, if true. Her biologoical mother and aunt are looking and would like to locate her or know if she is well and happy and she is still in our hearts. The only information on adoptive parents were that they were educators in school in Richmond, VA. Baby was adopted through an attorney of the attending physician at Petersburg. If anyone should have any information we would greatly appreciate any available.
