My son was born September 2, 1975 at Park Hospital. He was adopted through an attorney Theodore Teacher, who was elderly at the time. I was told the adoptive father was a doctor and the family was religious, possibly Jewish; and there was a prior biological daughter. The reason for the adoption was due to my age (fifteen)-- my mother sent me to a home for "unwed mothers" much to my disapproval.
