I am searching for my birth parents. I was born in San Francisco on February 15th, 1968 at about 9 am at Saint Mary's Hospital. My ethnicity is Polish and German. My mother was a teacher and my father was a welder. The father said he had nothing to offer me. My birth parents were not married when I was born.
My birth mother named me, Marie Margret Grace but when I was adopted my name was changed to Carmel Louise Crane.
I am 5'4" and my birth mother was listed as 5'1"
Both of my birth parents are listed as caucasian.
I have brown hair and brown eyes.
The doctor who delivered me was named Dr. Cone.
My adoption was closed and I have no access to information about my family medical history or the circumstances of my birth. I have done some research over the years but have not been able to find out very much information.
Someone who was doing her own research of birth records through the organization Alma saw my posting there and wrote an email to me stating that she had found dual records for my birth at Saint Mary's Hospital. She said that there were two entries for the same time and baby, one of the listings had the last name Anderson and was a listing for the father. She told me this must be the last name of my birth father because it was the same time I was born.
