I am trying to find information or any relatives of George Marshe. He emigrated to Australia around late 1800s. He married Ethel Mary Ellen Biggs on 2nd January 1907 in Cobar N.S.W.
He may have fought in the Boer War. He served with the Australian Armed Forces in Belgium in WW1 and was killed on 17th October 1917. He is mentioned on the Ypres(Menin Gate)memorial in Belgium.
His father was possibly in the Diplomatic Service in England in the 1800s.
It is possible his original surname was not Marshe but perhaps Marlborough or Myborough.
