William Woods and his wife Ruth Kincaid married in Madison County, KY in 1792. Their oldest daughter Jane Woods was born in Madison County, KY in 1793 and married Phanuel Davis there in 1807 at her age of 14. Both couples and their children moved to Clermont County, Ohio about 1810. Phanuel and Jane moved to Jennings County, IN in 1820. William and Ruth moved to Ripley County, IN in 1830-1835. I believe I see William in the 1820 and 1830 census in Pleasant Township of Brown County, Ohio. I suspect the land that they purchased in Clermont County, later became Brown County. Can someone look in Brown County deeds from 1818 to 1835 for sales of lands by either William and Ruth Woods or by Phanuel and Jane Davis? My goal is to verify when exactly they moved out of Ohio.
