Boone- Cherokee from Botetourt and Roanoke areas of VA in the late and early 1900s.
Looking for info on Indian side of family (Cherokee) of my great grandma Julia Boone (1/2), father Dr. Boone. Not sure if she was born in Botetourt though. Found a census list her father as George A Boone and mother Rosa, but on census everybody's listed as white, not sure if this is a positive link. Her mother or father was full Cherokee.
